This movie is a well made drama film thats throws light onto the sad state of events in our nation especially rural areas. Kudos to the director Anubhav Sinha for having tailored the narration in a very impactful yet engaging manner.
BadhaaiHo Ayushmann Khurrana. He continues his midas touch and his golden run continues. His decision to play this character has paid off and he us ought to reap rich dividends as well. As a Cop He has got it bang on and his body language, gestures are so impressive. The intent of the character he has brought out in his eye is top notch. He shoulders the entire responsibility of the movie pretty well and is the X-factor of the movie.
Cinematography by Ewan mulligan aids the movie very well. Especially the dark and early morning misty setting gels in well with the story setting of the movie.
Music by AnuragSaikia and team is a big plus to the movie and augments to the dramatic effect it creates in the audience setup by the impeccable narration of the movie.
Humour in the movie though unconventional is pretty effective leaving us audience in splits. The relevance to the current turn of events is what is the differentiator.
This movie leaves a lot to ponder about in us the audience. I would highly advise against taking kids but this is a must watch not only for the impact it creates but also the socially relevant subject it talksabout. I am going with 4/5 for this movie.
