Viswasam – Rangas Review

The movie sees Thookuthurai twirling his big handlebar moustache time and again. He has given his fans enough reasons to do the same after watching the movie as well.

Director Siva Thank you for Viswasam. The movie has more to do with Thala’s emotions rather than actions and is a feast for him as an actor. Be it the adavadi thookuthurai or doting dad thala has aced it to perfection and is refreshing to see him play many light hearted scenes as well. Dialogues too is a big plus to the movie.

The director has not only learnt his lessons from his previous movies but has taken the best practices as well. This movie ought to appeal to a wider section of the audience in addition to thala fans. That being said he has also placed enough scenes with Thala’s charisma and swag written all over that leaves the audience on a high. The Interval block scene stands out of the lot.

Thala’s chemistry with Nayan is apt and the bond he has with her child played very well by Anikha adds substance to the movie.

Nayan continues Her Midas touch and has given yet another fabulous performance. Jagapathi babu scores in whatever limited screen time he gets.

Music by D Inman is a big plus to the movie and the background score stands out. Among the songs If Kannanekanne is mellifluous with Sidsriram written all over it, Vanne Vanne appeals while Vetti Kattu, Adhcithooku are big crowd pleasers.

Cinematography by Vetri brings in both the urban as well as rural beauties and is such a treat to the eyes.

The director does justice to Thala’s faith in him and helping Thala repay the same to his fans as well.

This is a family drama that sees Thala flying high both as an actor&entertainer. Loved the message at the end as well. Very apt in the current circumstances.

The movie sees Thookuthurai twirling his big handlebar moustache time and again. He has given his fans enough reasons to do the same after watching the movie as well.

P. S: As a TCS’er I loved the TCS Siruseri in background but unfortunately it’s in Chennai and not Mumbai 😆😆

I am going with 3.5/5 for this movie. #Thala #AjithKumar #Siva #DImman #RangasReview #Nayan
