The man with the vision SS Rajamouli manages to take the audience on a stellar ride delivering an entertainment overdose & dispersing a plethora of emotions in the audience. This movie can be very well termed as “God’s own Movie” and is a movie that deserves multiple visit to the screens. But the weird fact is that your fascination & love for him, only keep increases as you watch Baahubali muscle his way to glory.
Just got-out of the Baahubali hangover A quadriga is a car or chariot drawn by four horses abreast. Quadrigas were emblems of triumph; Victory and Fame often are depicted as the triumphant woman driving it. In classical mythology, the quadriga is the chariot of the gods; Apollo was depicted driving his quadriga across the heavens, delivering daylight and dispersing the night. On a similar note the man with the vision SS Rajamouli manages to take the audience on a stellar ride delivering an entertainment overdose & dispersing a plethora of emotions in the audience.
Moving to the quadriga: Prabhas the Protagonist as Baahubali powers his way throughout the movie leaving the fans in absolute frenzy. As Amarendra Baahubali & Mahendra Baahubali he has given career best performance till date. Rana Daggubati the Antagonist matches the hero frame by frame in a yet another phenomenal performance that keeps the audience hooked. To me his part was more trickier to play than that of Baahubali since he had to evoke a whole different emotions including the ones of tricky ‘Sinister’ yet wily looks. This is like the case of a joker in Batman movie. The Dark knight is loved more by the audience by from a performance standpoint the joker had the scales tilted in his favor.
The Success of the movie is mainly because of chemistry that existed between both these characters. It reaches alarming levels when the two take on each other and propels the action & entertainment quotient of the movie to a whole new level. Paisa vasool for the audience. Anushka Shetty is back with yet another meaty & powerful role. Close on the lines of her stunning performance in Arundhati. As princess Devasena she totally fits in as the warrior prince & is full of valor and bravery. An apt match for Baahubali & together they form a celestial pair dazzling the audience. In the closing moments of the movie her aggressive is nothing less than Goddess Kali.
Ramya Krishnan continues from where she left us in part 1 and gives a fabulous performance yet again. Sathyaraj gives out a fabulous performance as Kattapa. Final moments before he is to kill Baahubali he manages to put altogether a fabulous performance at a whole different level. A memorable performance yet again from Nasser and these kind of sinister looks there can not be an actor to replace him.
Madhan Karky dialogues augments the emotional quotient of the movie to a whole new level. M. M. Keeravani music is an absolute delight and is a big plus to the movie. The BGM during the final face-off between Bhalla & Baahubali is high octane type and simply scintillating. I believe the movie was destined was for the success the moment SS Rajamouli cast the above people in their respective roles. The movie was destined for the kind of success its enjoying now and the actors too were destined for all the limelight that they are currently basking under.
Henceforth movies will be scaled as Before Baahubali(BB) and after Baahubali(AB). With more budget comes more responsibility and Rajamouli Garu has once again proved his masterclass passing with flying colours yet again. Like champions make winning a habit he has made this acing a habit. His attention to minute details too stands out. Right from the opening animation where Sivagami’s hand carrying the child is bit by the fishes to the last minute turtle style squadron formation he manages to up the ante each and every time. Finally the swashbuckling CG effects deserve a special mention. Its what makes this movie truly global and arrive with a bang at the global arena.
