Doctor Strange – Rangas Review

“Time” as a concept has been analyzed deep in this movie & true to its theme I find this movie to be far ahead of other lot getting released these days. Dr Stephen Strange demands a visit and is a must-watch movie for not one but 3 reasons. Don’t miss this Visual extravaganza

“Time” as a concept has been analyzed deep in this movie & true to its theme I find this movie to be far ahead of other lot getting released these days. I feel this movie stands out for the following reasons: Simply scintillating & magical visuals, Granular yet meticulous treatment of “Time” as an entity & Last but not least Cumberbatch. The rich visuals that the audience are treated serves as the ideal crowd puller for this movie. I was reminded of the movie “The walk” where the vertigo effect scenes were beautifully etched that it left the audience in awe. This movie has the upped the ante & taken the vertigo effect scenes to the next level. I was thoroughly impressed with the attention to detail as well. For instance in one scene as the transcending of the dimensions happen a car gets so neatly switched from the X to Z axis(considering a 3D axis). The action scenes also augments the vertigo effect to the next level & its such a visual treat. The scenes involving the astral form of Dr Strange, Mirror world are also such a visual delight. Scott Derrickson has managed to delve around a plethora of complex topics such as Time loop, Multi-Verse,Spatial Paradox, Space-Time continuum etc but he has managed it very well keeping things simple and presenting things in manner easily digestible to the audience. Benedict Cumberbatch gives a power packed performance yet again. After enacting a tricky “Sherlock” to perfection in the famous series this seems to be a cakewalk for him. In a otherwise serious movie his Sarcasm & Humour helps the movie to be lively & engrossing. Watch Out for his antics with “Mystical Eye” & his pre climax fight with Dormammu. Good to see that a sequel is on the cards. Dr Stephen Strange demands a visit and is a must-watch movie for not one but 3 reasons. Don’t miss this Visual extravaganza.#Rangasreview
