There was once a king in the land of Fiction. All was well and the kingdom was flourishing under his rule. He was a man known for his wisdom and he wanted to find a way to test his subjects. One evening as he was taking a stroll in his gardens, he tripped on a rock and fell down. That was his Eureka moment and he devised his plans. The next day he went to the outskirts of the city in disguise and placed a boulder in the center of the road. He hid himself behind a tree and began to observe his subjects. First came bubloo. Being the Lazy man that he was he plainly looked at the boulder in disgust, lamented that the King and all the irresponsible people were responsible for this and shrewdly went away. Next came Chungru He tried to move it but he was not able to move an inch. Looking at his plight a bunch of hooligans at one end began to mock at him. He got frustrated and left the place muttering curses about the hooligans and the king under his breath. The king on seeing this became very sad at the plight of his subjects. However he was distracted by the arrival of the next person. In came the wrestler Munna. He immediately began to move the boulder. It was difficult but with perseverant attitude. Munna managed to move it and he was surprised to find something glittering under the rock. It was the bag of gold coins that was left behind by the king as reward. Both Munna & the king went home very happy.
This story is a true testimony to the saying “It is better to light a candle than to curse the darkness”. We come across lots of opportunities like this in our day to day life. Most of them act like Chungru & Bubloo and the ignore them and only complain. Only very few act like Munna and attain greater heights in life converting opportunities at each and every step!! Who are you?????

I am a common man with the power to communicate. I am ardent reader of books, a Technophile. a public speaker and last but not least movie buff. I have also been a passionate toastmaster for the past 5 years and have attained the highest level of DTM. When I get time I also review movies and books constructively on my Fb page "RangaReviews". I have created this page to share my thoughts on topics that interest me and I believe will benefit others too. I am of the strong opinion that communication is a two way process and it has to happen between the communicator & receiver as well. Feel free to drop in your suggestions and thanks for spending your valuable time to read my posts.
